The ghostlike body of a woman stares at you from inside the surface of a wall. Only her head and arms are moving, alternating frantic contortions with slow and concentrated gestures. The face sometimes distorted by a silent scream, she seems to struggle to keep her own flesh from mingling with the inorganic substance of the wall…
This video installation was initially designed for the Brigittines Chapel in Brussels, on the occasion of the event “Je m'appelle Fleur” in December 2006.
