Sandy Claes & Daan Wampers are two video artists who are working together since 2003. Sandy Claes (1982) graduated as master in the audiovisual arts in 2005. Her final year film 'On a lead' was awarded for best short animation at the International Short Film Festival of Leuven in 2005. In 2006, Daan Wampers (1982) and Sandy Claes created 'Blauwblauw', a short animated film based on a poem by Miguel Declercq. In 2007, Blauwblauw received the award for best non-narrative film at the I Castelli Animati Festival in Rome, Italy. In the same year, 2007, they created a short experimental film 'Domino', which was awarded as best mobile film at the International Short Film Festival in Leuven (2007), Cinepocket in Brussels (2008), both in Belgium and at Filmo, LABoral Film Festival in Madrid Spain (2010).
