Dorota Buczkowska’s videos often attempt to catch fleeting moments of transforming matter. Her work exists on the border of what is visible, at the limit of what is perceptible. Pulled-in by white fog, snow, ice or clouds, the shapes and colours the artist captures fade away, sometimes to a complete disappearance. Her work does not reveal itself at first glance but needs observation -much more than attention- what is known as the power of vision.
