Lizzie Hughes studied at The Slade School of Fine Art where she gained a BA and MFA in Sculpture. Recent exhibitions include: Rub Out The Word – d.u.m.b.o. arts centre, New York and East End Academy – Whitechapel Gallery, London. She is currently undertaking a five year residency at the ACME Fire Station Building in London. Her work attempts to make re-representations of structures and networks that through scale and complexity defy a singular visualisation.
